These special dogs need exercise and companionship like all dogs do, but you, as their trusted human, know that they would not thrive in a boisterous group setting.

There are many reasons why you would choose a solo walk over a group one. This service is ideal for:

• dog aggressive dogs,
• non-socialized new adoptions and fosters,
• sick and elderly dogs,
• or just plain ol' fraidy dogs.

While we specialize in solo walks for dogs that really need that option, we do have limited group "playdates" for pack animals.

We have groups for the small frys, your big dogs, rambunctious pups, and mellow laid-back observers. Tell us about your dog's temprement and we will match it to our small groups (no more than 4 dogs per pack!).

While we have always specialized in parrots (and if you have dogs and parrots we are an ideal service for you!), we also excel at caring for dogs, cats, fish (even high maintenance salt water aquariums!), rodents, reptiles, and more.

Our clients that have parrots and dogs have always been pleased as punch with our care of their canines- from the tiniest teacup Chihuahua to the biggest Newfoundland. We have always offered walks, kennel maintenance, park time, medicating, and more for our furry friends- but now we offer these services to you, even if you do not have a parrot.

We spend a minimum of an hour on each visit if you have social animals (dogs, cats, parrots), even if that just means lots of lap time, scratches and pets, or fun and games. And isn't that what you want for your animal companions when you cannot be with them? For non-social animals (reptiles, fish, cages and aviaries of non-parrot birds like finches), we do offer a 30 minute discounted "drop by" rate. We only offer this to folks without social animals however, because we believe in a higher level of service than chucking food into a bowl, scooping some poop, and leaving.

We charge fees starting when we pick up your dog, ending with when we drop it back off, safe and sound.

Have a couple dogs that are great with each other, but not with others? No problem! We'll take them both for walks together.

Not all dogs can thrive in a busy dogpark environment. We only take our group walks to dog parks if clients give the OK! Otherwise, your special friend gets lots of human-canine bonding time and exercise one-on-one.

Some dogs love running around off-leash. Others have no recall and need to be more closely supervised. Heard tales of the dog walker that "lost my dog"? That won't happen at Squawk and Howl!

Kirby needs insulin injections twice a day as part of his routine. We do this for him as part of our flat fee, of course!
