The fees for our services are inclusive and hourly.

We will not charge add-on fees for anything else but time spent (either planned or unexpected) at the rate of an additional $25 per hour.

Rather than charging lots of separate fees like other services ($25 for a dog walk here, $15 for giving meds there) and making things confusing and time-consuming to explain, we would rather spend time with your animals!

All services for first-time pet sitting clients must be pre-paid. Once you are an existing client, you may pay 50% up front, 50% after services rendered.

All dog walking services are prepaid.

We accept cash & checks as well as credit cards via Paypal (with an added 3% processing fee added).

We are professionals: we use contracts and treatment in abstentia forms when we work for you, after a prelim visit has been done. Once you recieve them, review them for accuracy. When you have them and they are verified as correct, you are in our schedule for services. Easy! Our clients find it easy to get services once they have had a prelim visits and are set up as a client. Just email the dates and services that you need, we email you back, and that's it! Since we keep keys on file or use a lockbox or concierge on each account, we show up when contracted without any extra fuss.

Parrot Behavior Consultations

Because of the time involved with management issues, dani charges differently for a behavioral consultation than she does for pet sitting.

Phone consultation for one bird: $75.00 (paid in advance of phone appointment)
In-home consultation for one bird: $50.00/hour (paid day of appointment) + travel costs (50¢/mile + tolls, round-trip, if outside Alameda County)
Each additional bird covered in that hour: $25.00 additional

This fee covers the initial consult itself, which will up to 4 hours, and up to two phone/email check-ins of no more than a half hour. (Additional time for check ins is available- see below)

Longer follow-ups for existing clients are discounted - $50.00 by phone or e-mail or $40.00 per hour for in-home follow-ups. Follow up rates are good for for 4 months from the date of the initial consult, as long as they are regarding the original problem. After that, initial 4-month period, follow-ups will be charged at the original rate of $50 per hour.

Payment must be made by cash, check, or money order, or via credit card through PayPal.

Cage and/or Aviary Remodeling

We charge $35 per hour for this service. We will need to observe your bird in its enclosure for a period of time and evaluate what materials you already have before deciding on a course of action. We will shop for the necessary items for you (pre-approved and withn a budget we set together, of course!) and add the cost of materials onto your total bill. If you are outside Alameda County, 50 cents per mile and tolls will be added onto your total bill.

Parrot Catering (Daily/Weekly Parrot Diets or Treats)

We make fresh mashes, soak/sprout mixes, batches of birdie bread, and more every week! Ingredients are always human grade and organic. If your bird has special needs or is picky, please let us know what foods your bird cannot have and we will make food to your specifications (no soy, corn, etc).

Organic sprouts, ready to eat (includes adzuki beans, garbanzo beans, fenugreek, kamut, mung beans, several varieties of lentils, a mix of several varieties of peas, including yellow trapper, spring rye, barley and oats): $7 per 8 oz.

Organic Birdie Bread Mini Muffins: $6 dozen

Organic Mashes (include fruits, veggies, grains, and greens): $7 per 8 oz.

Prelim Visits

In order for us to enroll you in the service, a short home visit needs to be arranged while you are there. Our sitters can then meet you, the animals in their own environment, and take lots of notes. This allows us to provide customized care for your special friend. (This will also show you how we get along with your animals).

On this short, hour-long visit, we'll also pick up keys, get your pet's health records, and set up billing for your account. After this visit, you can use our services any time you need them! Because this visit takes at least two hours of our time, a fee must be charged. The fee for account set up and home visit is a mere $30.00.

Holidays

On holidays and the week/ends surrounding them, we add an extra daily $25.00 surcharge ($25 per visit for regular pet sitting, $15 per visit for "drop by" (non-social) visits, $15 per day for boarders) to our rates, so we may pay our sitters a living Bay Area wage and compensate them for not getting a holiday.
